1. Who is responsible for your data
The controller of the personal data processed through this website is:
- Owner
- Patryk Zientek
- Contact
- Contact form
- Activity
- Music production, recording, mixing and mastering
This site is purely informational: it presents my work and lets you get in touch. It has no shop, user accounts or sign-up.
2. What data is processed
When you contact me
When you use the contact form, your message is sent through the Web3Forms service, which delivers it to me by email. I only receive what you choose to send: your name, email address, the services you are interested in, a link to your music (optional) and your message. The same applies if you write to me on Instagram.
When you browse the site
- Language preference: the site remembers whether you view it in English or Spanish by saving a value in your browser (see section 6). It contains no personal data.
- Server technical data: like any website, the hosting provider may automatically log your IP address, browser, date and page visited in order to serve the site and protect it against abuse.
- Third-party content: fonts are loaded from Google Fonts and the “Work” section embeds the Spotify player. When they load, these services receive your IP address, and Spotify may use its own cookies (see section 5).
Visit statistics: I use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit the site and which pages they view. It is a privacy-first tool: it uses no cookies or browser storage, builds no profiles and does not track you across websites; it only shows me aggregated figures.
I do not use advertising pixels or commercial profiling, and I do not sell or rent personal data.
3. Purposes and legal basis
| Purpose | Legal basis (GDPR, where applicable) |
|---|---|
| Answering your enquiry and preparing a quote | Steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) |
| Managing the project if we work together | Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) and legal obligations, e.g. tax (Art. 6(1)(c)) |
| Understanding how many visits the site gets (aggregated statistics) | Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
| Keeping the website running and secure | Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
| Remembering your language | Strictly necessary for the service you request (exempt from consent) |
I will not send you marketing messages unless you expressly ask me to.
4. How long data is kept
Contact messages are kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and for no more than 12 months after our last exchange if we do not end up working together. If a project goes ahead, data is kept for the duration of the relationship and afterwards for the periods required by law (for example, tax and commercial rules). Server logs are kept according to the hosting provider’s policy.
5. Recipients and international transfers
Your data is not shared with third parties unless required by law. These providers are involved in running the site and handling contact:
- Web3Forms, which processes the contact form and forwards your message to me. Web3Forms Privacy Policy.
- Email provider where I receive your messages.
- Cloudflare, which hosts the site and provides the visit statistics. Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
- Google (Google Fonts), to serve the typefaces. Google Privacy Policy.
- Spotify, for the embedded player. Spotify Privacy Policy.
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, for example in the United States. In those cases transfers rely on the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework or on the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
Links to Instagram, Spotify and Muso.ai take you to third-party sites with their own privacy policies.
7. Your rights
You may at any time exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability, and withdraw your consent where it is the basis for processing. Write to me through the contact form stating which right you wish to exercise; I will reply within one month.
If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country.
If you live in the United States, you can likewise ask me for access to, or deletion of, the data I hold about you through the same form. I do not sell or share personal data for advertising purposes.
8. Minors
This site is not aimed at children under 13 (or the minimum age set in your country). If you are a minor and want to hire a service, please do so with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.
9. Security
I apply reasonable measures to protect the information I receive, such as encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access to my email. Even so, no system on the internet is completely infallible.
10. Changes to this policy
I may update this policy if the website or the law changes. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of this page.
